Seldom do we hear about people in the spotlight suffering from migraines but many are—and they take time off to heal. For example, “Gary Kubiak won't coach Broncos Thursday, expected back Monday” say ESPN. While migraine is not seen as something that would affect our everyday life, when it comes to well-known famous people, it is obvious that migraine is something serious and different.
If the NFL gives the Denver Broncos coach, Gary Kubiak, a week off due to his complex migraine condition, should the world of “every day” migraineurs also not be getting a week off for their migraines? We hope that he will get better soon and that he helps to pass on the information that migraines are not headaches and indeed, they are debilitating.
